Eye twitching

As I mention a few days ago that I had twitching in my eye on every loud sound, it hasn't stopped at all, yesterday it continued to do it at the xmas meal. I had do the same again, turn it down then when I left i turn it back to 12 o'clock.

Since it hasn't stopped, I have now decided to go back for a new programme and see if the audiologist can see whats causing the twitching. it maybe it just too loud. So, tomororw I have an appointments at ropewalk to sort it out. Just in time for xmas as I don't want to have much problem

so, I will keep you all posted on how it got on.

I do experience eye twitching but only during mapping when they are going through the electrodes one by one, but outside the centre and when the electrodes are on all together i dont have it. My audiologist said im the total opposite as some patients do experience eye twitching outside the centre. she did tell me not to worry as many patients experience eye twitching. Dont worry and hope Ropewalks goes well! Keep us updated!

Hey Katie-Louise,

Amanda and I are especially interested in seeing how your twitching issue gets resolved. Since her last mapping a month ago she can keep her twitching under control if she keeps the volume just under 12:00.

Keep us posted. ¡Hasta luego!

I would go get a mapping adjustment. It might be too loud for you or there might be a emphasis on high frequencies that need to be toned down. If you happen to take notice of what sounds are causing the twitching, that will help the audi. When I had my eye twitching, it was metallic sounds and dishes that did me in. Let me know how you make out!
